Check out these pics from below the waves of Walt Disney World's "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea". I like 'em because they're just shots of some of the props between the lagoon vignettes. Just little bit players in an amazing undersea world.
I loved the anemones. Here you see one that was actually animated to look like it was stinging the shit out of some poor fish. Well that's what they do in real life. They latch the tips of their crazy arms to passing fish and inject them with poison!
Here's a whole garden of them. See the barracuda back there?
Meanwhile, on the other side of the sub, an identical fish is getting the shit stung out of him! In case you're a scrub, I'll let you know that there were two of every animated scene so that guests on either side could enjoy the show.
See how peaceful it is here? The seaweed swayed back and forth and the anemones seemed to wave their stinging death arms looking for fish.
Because Disney sucks all good things came to end in 2004. When the water drained out the poor anemones lay all grey and shriveled.
Here's the little anemone island pictured second from the top. Isn't that sad? See them out there on the coral all dead?
